We are extremely happy with our new autumn/winter menswear collection and we hope you like it too!
The setting for our shoot this year was the magnificent Hesleyside Hall, Northumberland. This impressive family home is set within the heart of the Northumberland National Park and was the perfect back drop for our new menswear collection. Within the breath-taking grounds of the Hall stand the luxurious Hesleyside Shepherd huts. The five impeccably designed huts each have their own charm and unique qualities and we were lucky enough to be able to photograph inside a couple of the huts, Holly and Rowan. The reclaimed timber on the outside of Holly hut created a complementary backdrop to our traditional woollen Whitby Rib knitwear.
Northumberland National Park has Europe’s largest area of protected night sky (1,483 square kilometres). There is no light pollution there, which makes it a perfect spot for star gazing. On a clear night you can see millions of stars, the Milky Way and even the Andromeda Galaxy (which is 2.5 million light years away) with the naked eye.
For our formal pieces we ventured inside the Hall where we were greeted by exquisite décor and stunning original features. Our Merino knitwear and Flannel trousers looked very much at home in the cosy library and the grand staircase displayed our luxurious Cashmere jumpers and Cavalry Twill Trousers wonderfully.
