The V-neck jumper is arguably the most versatile piece of men’s knitwear you can own. There is no occasion that this item would look out of place.
A jumper is a great layering piece for the colder months. A merino jumper will add extra warmth without the bulk, it can be worn under a blazer due to the fine knit. You can create a smart look by layering a V-neck jumper over a formal shirt and tie and adding a blazer or tweed jacket. For the ultimate cosy winter look, add a pair of our heavyweight corduroy trousers in a colour that compliments your chosen jumper. The V-neck style adds sophistication to your outfit.
This season we are offering a V-neck jumper in a variety of natural materials and seasonal shades. From warm lambswool to luxurious wool/cashmere, you are bound to find one that suits your needs.
Here are some tips on how a V-neck jumper should fit.
- The ‘v’ shouldn’t end lower than the top of your armpit. It should be wide enough so the tips of the collar can be tucked in.
- The length of the jumper should come past your belt buckle, but no more than 2 inches past!
- The sleeves should sit where your wrist ends. They shouldn’t fit too tight or loose. If you are wearing a shirt underneath, allow the cuff to show by about 1/4″.
